Transition Little Secretary - XVIII

Small Transition Louis XV - Louis XVI Secretary in Rosewood and Amaranth.
Its marble top Aleppo Breccia is cut rounded to the front corners and molded into a groove.
It opens with a belt drawer and another half-height, both locking and marked on the slice "A. LEMESLE".
Also, it opens with a flap inlaid butterfly wings at the top, which opens onto a tabernacle consists of a large niche and two small drawers buttons. The interior of the seat is covered with a green leather red with a central motif and a golden frieze.
Finally, in the lower part, it opens with two small doors inlaid locking butterfly wings and an inner hook, overlooking an interior consisting of a shelf placed on fixed brackets.
The markers are framed by tinted wood fillets and lemon tree.
The sides are inlaid with ferns and the back is paneled. The sides and bottom of drawers as well as the back are in Oak.
It rests on 2 front legs curved and decorated with bronzes and 2 feet back straight with cross cut into forms animated.
Period: Late eighteenth.

Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and varnished finish on a hard bottom in our workshop.
