Exceptional bathroom furniture in Onyx - twentieth

Exceptional vanity solid walnut and green onyx, cut and molded.
It is composed of a large tank at the back of the cabinet which is filled from above allowing to have water through a silvered bronze valve worked and chiseled fish pattern.
It also has 4 side shelves cut and molded beak corbin framing a small soap dish shaped shell, above the tap.
The tilting central basin is signed at the front "Mottet and Durix, Quai des Brotteaux, Lyon". It is also signed on the back of "Twyfords LTD, Hanley, England, Trade Mark", manufacturer of bathroom accessories *. It tilts to allow the flow of water in a container below.
The lower part of the cabinet opens with 2 deep side drawers whose carved facades are carved and embellished with bronze handles with foliage decorations.
It opens below by 2 doors whose facades, echoing the drawers, are molded and carved patterns of roses arranged extremely detailed and framed scrolls.
The oak interior has a large storage space on the left and, on the right, 2 storage spaces separated from a shelf placed on fixed brackets.
The low front rail and the feet are carved, carved and molded. The sides are paneled and molded and the lower rails are cut into ripples, molded and engraved.
The back is paneled and it rests on 2 snail feet at the front and 2 straight feet etched at the back.
Period: Early twentieth.

Perfect condition after restoration of high quality, stripping and finishing in anti-stain satin varnish, in our workshop.
